Goals
Intentions ????
Today is the day! A new year, a new start, a new.......
WHAT????
Resolutions: I don't have any.
Goals: I don't have any
Intentions: I don't have any
So WHAT will be my roadmap into the next year? How do I know where I am going what am I going to do with this new set of 365 days? Without resolutions, goals or intentions I am going to live without meaning or purpose......DEFINITELY NOT!
One does not need to enter into a new year with a list of empty promises that will set them up for failure. You do not need plans to lead a gratifying purposeful life. The end of the old year and the beginning of the new one is a great time for reflection. Where you want to focus your time and energy will determine how your year will go. The universe tells us there are so many things to accomplish, lifestyle changes to make, tasks left undone that if we just did them we will be happy.
A word that has been showing up in my life this past week as I reflect on these things is
M Y S T E R Y ! or M Y -S T O R Y!
My Story will be just that. Taking each day as it unfolds. Living each day to its fullest potential and finding joy in both the mundane of daily life as well as the excitement of new adventures, big or small that find an opportunity to be celebrated. I have a journal idea where each day I will write 5 reflections from the day. They don't have to be exciting or extraordinary, just 5 facts from my day...how did my day present itself and unfold. Daily routines are good if you take notice of the way you move through them and find something special in each and every day. Make everyday count.

Every year starts with my favorite mystery....the one about me. Where will this year take me and what will I achieve, how will I fail, and what will I never change.
This morning on the Eve of the new year I think to myself, how will those pages look after a year full of mystery. I do not know today what I will be filling them with. I only know that by the end of the year there will be thoughts, quotes, lyrics, colors, photos, art, words and a year of memories yet to be determined. I feel excited, as I love a good mystery, and this one is all about me and how I plan to use each and every minute of my day in order to live my year to the fullest.
How do you plan on filling your pages?
Looking forward to stepping into 2023 with you.
